Occupational Health, Employee Assistance Programmes and Eye Care
We are working in partnership with Civil Service Employee Policy (CSEP) to design, develop and implement a suitable contracting route for the provision of occupational health (OH), employee assistance programmes (EAP) and eye care to the Civil Service and the wider public sector. Our aim is to replace existing arrangements when they expire and to ensure continuity of quality and compliant service provision, whilst delivering value for money at the best price.
Two separate central frameworks currently exist for the provision of OH and EAP (CCS Framework RM932) and for the provision of eye care (DWP Framework UI_DWP_100217 (NEC/3/0065)). Our intention is to merge the provision of all three services into a single framework agreement managed by CCS.
In June 2016 CCS and CSEP held two industry days covering OH and EAP and an industry day covering eye care. CCS also attended a central government customer network meeting in July, hosted by CSEP. The findings from these events and other engagement activities is helping us to understand the market and will enable us to develop a commercial solution that is fit for purpose, future-proofed, and meets our customers’ needs.
We are interested in hearing from our public sector stakeholders who have feedback to share or would like to be involved in helping to shape the procurement. If you have any suggestions or would like to be involved in the procurement process please email oheap[at]crowncommercial.gov[dot]uk.
