New Public Sector Travel and Venue Solutions Procurement

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is developing a procurement solution for travel and venue services, which will take into account the impending expiry of a number of government frameworks during 2017 and 2018 (RM1034 Wider Public Sector Travel Management Services and RM3735 Crown Travel & Venue Services). The new solutions will include; online only services for rail, accomodation and air, offline & online travel services and offline venues and group accomodation. Please see the Lotting structure below for more information on the scope of services. 

On the 29th September 2017, the PIN (prior information notice) was published via the Office Journal of the European Union (OJEU) by Crown Commercial Service, for the provision of travel services for both central government and the wider public sector (including third sector). Market Engagement

Crown Commercial Service held a Market Engagement Day on Tuesday the 24th October 2017 in London. The purpose of this event was to provide the market with an update on the procurement, present  thenew developments within our digital travel solution and to provide the market with an overview of the process and evaluation.  

We have also produced a Frequently Asked Questions document (updated 31st October 2017), which can be accessed here.

Customer Engagement

On the 25th October, Crown Commercial Service held a customer engagement session with a dedicated customer stakeholder group. The purpose of the session was to provide an update on the procurement and digital travel solution strategy.

The comments, questions and feedback received will be considered in the design and build of the ITT documents.
