Payroll, Human Resources (HR) and Finance Services

A new Payroll, Human Resources (HR) and Finance Managed Services agreement is being considered to replace the old agreement (RM887) which expired on 1 December 2015. The aim is to continue supporting HM Government’s Next Generation Shared Services Strategy and extend the principle of back-office shared services into the wider public sector.

Supplier engagement

The Payroll, HR and Finance Services agreement (RM887) expired on 1 December 2015 and we are currently exploring the options for a replacement commercial arrangement. 

As part of this, we are undertaking pre-market engagement with customers and suppliers to understand whether there is still a need for back-office services in the public sector and what shape a potential future arrangement could take to achieve benefits and savings for customers. 

In preparation for this procurement, we would like to engage with suppliers to establish the most appropriate commercial models and contracting terms to deliver best value.
